Comparative Omics Analysis of Common Bean under Salt Stress
Comparative omics analysis of two varieties of common bean with differing salt tolerance will generate a versatile data for more precise and focused approach to highlight the tolerance mechanism for functional studies. For that we aim to;
• Detect the differential expression pattern of genes in both ispir (tolerant) and TR43477 (susceptible) root and leaf tissues under salt stress,
• Identify, quantify and compare the primary metabolites in those varieties under control & stressed conditions • Detect and compare differentially accumulated ions in the tolerant and susceptible varieties • Integrate metabolomics, ionomics and transcriptomics data to generate a stress regulatory network profile.
